National Taco Day (Taco Bell’s Christmas) was right around the corner and they needed something fresh to sell their “taco day gift sets" available for one day only each year.

Every holiday season, marketer’s spend tons of money hyping up that year’s “Must Have Gift”. There are even all sorts of special sales events. What if tacos were that must-have gift? What if instead of getting your loved ones luxury cars and diamond rings, you got them tacos? And it was AWESOME?

Coming from a sketch comedy background, these were an absolute blast to make. I love parodies.

Originally slated as OLV’s, clients loved these spots so much that they decided to make it broadcast instead.
Thanks to these silly spots, we broke the sales record for most taco gift sets sold on National Taco Day.
